Before I go any further I would like to advise that the driver that collected my family from the apartments back to the hotel, although quiet was very good - he was over 30 mins early and put the bags in the car for my family and myself, so I would like to advise that this review is no reflection on him. However my incoming collection (and 1st contact) with Sunline was not as good. Our flight had landed at 10:50am, we had collected our baggage & were outside in arrivals by 11:20am but there was no sign of our driver. After several walks up & down through the hall I spotted a driver with a Sunline t-shirt so I asked him for help. He called the office & was advised that our driver was delayed & to continue to wait in arrivals. Another 20 mins passed & still no sign of our driver. I called the company again & was advised that my driver was stuck in traffic and was on the way and would be with me very soon. Finally around 12:20 our driver arrived!!!! Not looking very rushed or panicked that his clients had been waiting for over an hour for him to arrive, no apology given or an offer to assist us with our bags. Not even an attempt at acknowledgement of the fact he was so very late, in fact no speaking at all until we got to our apartments. Only when I had paid him the price of the transfer only, no tip - did the driver bother to speak to us, and only then did he apologise - his apology being "sorry for earlier" - very bad service and no follow up from the company. I sent a mail to Sunline 3 days before our return transfer to the airport as I feared if our driver was an hour late again we would miss our flight for sure. Only then was I advised that the original driver had issues with the car & they had been trying to get a new car for us, something that I would have been very understanding of had we been told at the time, my family & I could have sat in the coffee shop and had a drink & pastry while waiting or organised another transfer, but instead we were left standing in the arrival hall for over an hour with our baggage at our feet watching everyone else get collected.
